Dear Willows Community,

As per the Prime Minister's announcement tonight, Willows will have to close at midday tomorrow. In the morning we will be working through what this means for the Centre and for our members. We will email all our members tomorrow and post continual updates through our social channels. Thank you for your patience and your continued support at this time, We have launched our digital page for our Willows members so we can all keep moving together at this difficult period. You can access Willows Digital at willowshealth.com.au/willows-digital.

To our Willows family

At Willows, the health and wellness of our clients and employees is our priority.  We continue to monitor the spread of COVID-19 and we are keeping an eye on official information, including guidance published by the Australian Government.  Should emergency directives be issued, we will take appropriate action as directed by government officials.

We are currently taking proactive, preventative measure to protect against exposure to the virus within Willows Health & Lifestyle Centre.  Our regular health and hygiene practices (including requiring the use of a towel during a workout and wiping down equipment after use) provide the best defence against the spread of most contagious illnesses.

In addition to the regular and thorough cleaning of all surfaces, weights, treadmills, mats, you will find antibacterial wipe dispensers for your use whilst working out in the Cardio, Group Fitness, Weights areas as well as the Cycle, Women’s Exercise, Small Group Training and Yoga Studios and at the Reception desk.  We are ensuring that our team take important precautions against the spread of germs, including:

  • Washing hands with soap thoroughly and drying with paper towel.

See pictograph guides around the Centre.

  • Disinfecting hands frequently using alcohol-based hand sanitiser before and after classes.

  • Cover coughs and sneezes and dispose of tissues.

  • Avoiding touching eyes, nose and mouth.

  • Avoiding hugging, kissing, handshaking and sharing of cups or water bottles.

  • If you are not feeling well, you are advised to stay at home.

  • You can access supportive material to continue your wellness practice by accessing Willows Health & Lifestyle Centre app.  Ask our friendly staff about access.

We will keep you up-to-date with our response to this important issue.
